Well let me get into things here...
My parents have a 40 gallon tank at their home and only my dad really knows how to take care of it. Well, it seems that my mother had turned the heater up and the tank was over 90 degrees. only 1 harlequin, an ADF 2 guppys and a flying fox made it. So they moved the filter, and put it on a 10 gallon tank added about a gallon of the old water and 9 gallons of matured water. All the fish went in their and they left the other tank be.
Well, they havent turnedon the lights or had any kind of water disturbance since then. Well my dad called and said their were worms and little white balls in the tank. So i went over to see what he was talking about. Well the water has been stagnate for probably a week, and its very hot and humid where we live. I took a look into his tank and their are very very very tiny, sand grain like white balls swimming around the glass and stuff. and then above the water line their are very thin clear white worms, but actually pretty long, closer to an inch on the glass. I have not a clue what these are so i added a powerful filter to the tank and got the water moving as much as i could, guessing this was from the stangate water.
The worms went flying around the tank and headed towards the bottom as with the little balls. Is this something they should fear befor puttin their fish back in the tank? do you think they are harmful?
I tried to get a picture of them but my camera isnt too great.
Thanks
Josh
