alright, so staghorn algae is infecting the old leaves of my wisteria
i read in one algae post bout this the person had it growing one old leaves because they were leaching nutrients into the watrer
is this what is happening?
should i manually remove it, or should i just cut the leaves off?

old leaves naturally develop biofilms on them which algae feed offf.

I shake my stems plants and rub the leaves down of the crypts/ echinodorous every week or two, dont be to hung up about it though, i only spend 5mins.
cut the leaves off is the best way.
