How old will they be when they pass the most critical stage in there life(the betta fry). I mean like the most fragile stage in there life? Or is there a fragile stage in there life?

The first week is definitely the most fragile. Once you're past that first week you're pretty much in the clear. Still, they're quite fragile until 3 or 4 weeks.

I would say (at least) the entire first month is the most critical. Some of my babies from a previous spawn died off the first week but I lost even more weeks later. The first day or so they feed off of their yolk sacs and several can survive for days after but if you don't feed them what they need after a week or more they will start dying off quickly (or due to water conditions, etc)

yes when they become free swimming they finish off there egg sac.Get a microworms culture,You can get them off ebay or just ask someone on here.Im sure theyll sell/give you some. :good:

would frozen BBS work for a little while because thats all I have at the moment.

it might, but quite unlikely... you should get live mw/ve/bbs (microworms/vinegar eels/baby brine shrimp) or the babies might not survive... good luck though!
