Srange Things In My Tank

Just noticed some worm like thingys swimming in my tank,they are very thin and white about25mm long,look like bits of cotton.I've only just noticed them,what are they and should I be concerned.

I've got those aswell in my shrimp tank! Always see them sliding along the glass

Is there a way to get rid of them lol? Not that they bother me... just wondering.

Avoid over-feeding and clean your gravel more often, they'll go away...or at least be reduced to numbers that you cannot readily see.
