earlier on i was cleaning the tank and moved a plant pot in the Kribtnk...
i accidently sqaushed my male krib.. needless to say he died!
i know have a lonely female?
i heard its hard to introduce males/females.... should i sell her or leave her as is?

That sucks, I did it once to a Golden nugget pleco (they aint cheap!!)

I dont know much about kribs but buying a new male gets my vote, if they dont pair up you can try another one right? Good luck! :good:

If its any constelation (How ever its spelt :p) I Crushed a Daino by accident, easily done :|

I hate when I do work on my mbuna tank because my syno cats will not let go of the rocks until you take them out of the water. Then, when you go to put the rock back down, the cats get on the bottom and you have to be so careful not to trap them. No one said fish were smart...

The story of my life with my plecs. I move the logs and hiding holes around my communal tank every month or so to add variety for the fishies till my bigger tank is ready for the cichlids and i always end up with a bristloe nose still attached when i am putt the logs back down! Its so hard not to squash them.

I am still to this day trying to discover where my albino plec has disappeared too...

he's either become lunch to the electric yellow...or he has been squashed...

Worst is when my partner bounces through the room and the tank wobbles on the floor boards just enough to move an ornament...then i search frantically to make sure they are all there!!

I made the mistake of putting the rocks in my mbuna tank right on top of the sand and, well, the mbuna dug and dug and dug and made the rocks cave in. I got really lucky and lost none of the fish!

I managed to smash a Rusty...

I saw him right before I added rock...and I havent seen him since. He always stayed in the rockwork...but he hasn't been seen in a looooooong time and I'm not pulling 125 gallons worth of rock out to look so I've long assumed he got smashed.

doesnt it suck i was feeling awfull thinking i was th only one
our dog has a back end that he doesnt keep control of... so i panic when he knocks the door into the tank :(

well the female krib died :(
she seemed really red on her tummy then we found her gasping and dead....
e had been away so i had neglected her water change :(
but alas the tank is hapy and healthy think the ammonia did it

so ill be getting a new pair or a wild pair of bettas... or blue rams....
ill have too think it over :/

i love nigerian red kribs but cant find any!
