Spray Bars?

got new filter with a spray bar and was woundering if you can get different attatchments to the end, to make a steady flow kinda like a power head gives instead of the light spray across the tank?

I hate spray bars when I used them years ago, for every messing about with them getting blocked.
Prefer airstones.

Yeah you can. Most filters use a 16mm hose so you can get a varity of diffferent "heads" for them. Just have a look in your LFS and they should have some (if not just ask and they might have some spares sitting around somewhere).

Spraybars can be a PITA with clogging but do serve a purpose.

Yeh you can get different ones, Abyss in Stockport sells them. Not quite sure what your saying you want to do though...thought most spray bars were just pipes with holes in....

I think he just wants to ditch the spray bar and put something on the end he can use to direct the flow.

Eheim do attachments that allow you to do just that.

Ah right, gotcha barney. Well Abyss in stockport are 'I think' the biggest eheim distributor in the Uk, and they have loads of parts n things like that.

it is a eheim filter, was just thinking it may be a little better to have a bit more flow across the water? think of setting up the tank for red belly's, it was just a thought changing the spray bay anyway, they obviously do there job well enough i just like to have things like this in mind. if you know what i mean
