Spray Bar - Opinions?

Ive got a 29 gallon tank with a fluval 3+ filter. I saw a spray bar at LFS today to attach to the filter which looked good. Just wanted to know your opinions before I consider buying? Does it increase filtration / decrease / the same? If your not sure what it is its a straight tube with holes in that you attach to the glass. Is it just for affect?

It may decrease the flow through the filter a little, which really shouldn't affect the filtration. They help with fish that are a litle more sensitive to turbulance, as the flow is spread out more, and can be directed down the side or towards the back of the tank.

I have one and have no complaints. Just softens the water out flow really. I'd get it...

Also does good for putting more O2 in the water.

I took mine out kept getting blocked for every cleaning them.
