i have a cycled 20 gallon that im making a brackish tank for my spotted puffer..

the guy at the store told me 2 teaspoons of salt for every gallon.. just checkin with you here to see if that sounds right before i put him in my tank..

it cycled with danios in freshwater and now im about to put salt in and get my puffer used to my conditions.

Hi, you need to buy a hydrometer or refractometer (more expensive, better results) to give a good measurement of your tanks specific gravity, which is how we measure the salt in the tank

Don't know about brands and are you going to increase the SG over the GSP's life? (I assume so). To start you'll probably need an sg of 1.003 at 25 degrees C . It would be good if your LFS could check the accuracy for you
