This weekend my dad and i went lps hopping and wound up at petco. I was looking through the community tanks when i spotted 3 gorgeous guppies one was a half black and two were double tails. I bought one of the prettier doubles for 3.29. What are the chances of him breedning in my 10g community tank with my female guppy. What are the chances that their fry will have the double tails? this is the first time i have seen the double tails and i should have bought both. Petsmart was in the same area and they also had one double tail left.

anyone have any information for me?

yes i have heard of these double tailed guppys, they are pretty cool. if i were u id hunt down a female double tail because i think guppys are like cichlids they can cross multiply. u can go ahead and try to breed but there is a chance the fry may not develope proper color or tail patterns. good luck with your breeding.
