Split from algae shrimp with Angels

contemplating setting my 8g up as a nano planetd using his leftovers.... and doing a better job of it than him! :p
You'll be surprised what is possible from a small tank. You will have seen Justin Law's aquascapes in the latest PFK I assume? They're all 32 l. / 8 gal.

All the best with your set up (and Ian's too). There's nothing like healthy competition to improve one's skills.

yeah I've had a quick peak, not a proper read though.

Ian had an idea to do a mini me with the aquacube, just a replica of his big planted tank but all tiny! :)

worked it out it`s going to cost 100 quid for ada aqua soil. then its EI. i`ve got plenty of DIY co2 in there. and i`ll be adding either another 1 or two bulbs taking it up to 2.5 or 3 wpg respectively.

I`m thinking a 2 tier aqua scape formed by 2 large pieces of bog wood on either side set running from a quater of the way back from the front glass and running to the back of the tank.
A nice carpet of glosso or more likely. Hemianthus Callitrichoides. with an unidentified red lilly thing i have pokeing out of it and a lace plant at the very back of the tank where the bog wood will meet the back of the tank.
On the 2nd tier i`m going to have my amazon swords and quite likely a huge plantation of ludwigia,.

hopefully where the ludwiggia turns red at the top and stays green at the bottom should be quite attractive
