I only have one female guppy and 4 danios at the moment. This one guppy, something terrible happened to her. I found out that the dorsal fin is completely split apart, right down the middle to the body, so now it's like she has 2 dorsal fins. She's such a beautiful fish, it is truly a shame. My NNA levels are fine, although the water is a little hot (82'F), but she seems to be fine. Like I said she's in there with 4 zebra danios in a 20g, and I was wondering how this might have happened. Most importantly can she kindof, grow the fin back to normal?

Guppys are prone to split fins add some melafix or tonic salt to the tank, keep water quality in tip top condition.

So will she grow it back to normal or will the fin be split for the rest of her life? Did one of the zebra danios do this or is it naturally occuring?

it should grow back, may take time though.

it could be the danio's and could just be fin rot. Hard to tell with guppies

sorry could'nt help more
