Wondering if this size of tank is ok to split for 2 males there is an undergravel filter system in so im sure the filtration will be ok just unsure if there will be enough room for a male to swim about i was going to stick a few live plants in for them also

I consider that to be a bit too small... I have my new guy in a one gallon tank only temporarily, until I can get a divider for my five gallon tank taht my other betta is in... and that 2.5 gallons that he'll be in is my personal minimum...

But... that's just me. :)

I would have to agree, This one of the B&M tanks? I would say thats about big enough for 1 male, it'll get a bit cramped living permantly in half of one of them.

yea one of them mate i had another about twice the size with a bow front but seems its been permantley taken as my brother decided he wants to keep it lol im trying to sneek in a bigger tank as the mrs wont let me ''take over'' the house lol (if only she could see the tanks growing in the garage lol)

what ever you do, don't forget whats in there and send her in for something, sure to be fireworks. Take the key off her now!

I personally have a minimum of 5 gallons for a betta, so I'd say that really was too small. I'm upgrading my bettas 4 gallon baby biorb into a 7.4 gallon aquastart 320, as I think 4 gallons is too small. Just my 2 cents :)

all advice and opinions are taken into consideration :D i was thinking of this as a good ploy to mabe divide the tank then say they dont have much space to move :( o well better get another tank ....... OH wait i got a 5ft one in the garage hahahaha :D
