I have a 30 gall community tank with silver sharks, plec, tetras, rasboras, angelfiish and four sailfin mollies. Chemicals are all neutral with nitrates at around 30. Water change is 25% every week. Tank temp is 77 deg. No chemicals in tank except dechlorinator added to water change.

When one of my fish committed suicide (jumped out of tank when I was cleaning the hood), I decide to buy two more sailfins two days ago. One of them has started to act stangely, the black one. It lies on the gravel on its side then "takes off" spinning through the water before settling back down again. There's definitely something wrong. A friend mentioned that it might be trying to get lice off of its body. Must be small because we can't see anything.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Are you sure the test results are fine as your tank look overstocked to me, can the fish maintain it's balance in the water, is their any bloating on the fish.

I would suggest a water change first to make sure it isn't water quality.
