The hard part with spiders is that they float and can atually skim the water and get out of the tank unless you clearly see them get eaten. I've tried many times with feeding and i find it all comes down to the specific fish...I've found that my male Convict will rip them down from the surface and consume them almost instantly....whereas all my other fish are hesitant and the spider will make it to safety... HIH a little :D
 
I don't know how nutritional spiders are [ it may depend on the particular spider], but I would pass on feeding them to my fish .

Some spiders may be perfectly safe :dunno: , insects are available in lfs [ where I live anyway ] , and are prov-en for whatever nutritional value they have , as well as being safe for fish to eat .

Maybe going to a site for arachnids would get you the answer to your question .
