Hi

My largest cardinal tetra was scattering eggs last night ! :)

I am new to fishkeeping, they are my first fish and I have only had them 10 days but thought they were 4 months old and therfore too young.

Anyone know how old they might be ?

Thanks

As most will tell you it is nearly impossible with out testing to differentiate between a male and female in most tetra varieties, probably a couple months older then 4 then again, I have heard of other varieties breeding at this age. Watch closely to see if a male fertilizes them and with the proper care you could have some free new additions :)

I would guess at least a couple months.
