Spawning My Dwarf Gourami

Well i have started doing this today, they had there last meal this morning. I have added the male, and the female, there is alittle chasing but other than that there ok. Just waiting for him to build a nest now.

I'd suggest you lower that temp.! Dwarf gouramies are highly prone to bacterial infections. There's nothing worse for encouraging bacteria than high temperatures.

I assume you've conditioned the pair, kept them seperate for a while and now added them to a breeding tank? Hopefuly you have a hiding place for the girl in there.

Hi

I had to delay the spawn until today, as i came down with that flue bug.

So i have just added the female and the male to the tank, he is flarning and has really gone bright in colour, he is chasing her, but there is no nest as yet he blows a few bubbles and that it.

Despite conditioning both pairs, the female is not that fat, a bubble nest is slowly appearing
