In my tank i have 3 convicts, a tire track eel, a 4-5" syno and a delhizi. My convotcs have spawned and i dont know wether to remove the eggs or let them hatch and see what happens.

Would the cons become agressive to my other fish once the fry has hatched? Im worried about they syno the most, the eel gets into a tiny hole in the bogwood, they are scared of the del, even though it is only about 6" haha.

What size tank? Breeding cons can be brutal, I would get a divider & split the pair from the rest of the fish.

okay, thanks.

i moved the eel and the syno out, so now its just the cons and the bichir. The bichir can look after himself haha

you think!

when my con and sajica started to breed in my monster tank they took half for themselves, they had no probs putting the other fish in place, fish inc a 18" walking cat, 9inch male jag, plecs, 20" aro and same size pacu, like said before, when cons breed they are "BRUTAL"

haha... the eggs are slowly going white. I have no idea why they are not hatching.

and its a 75gal.

It may be that your water is not suitable for the eggs. Can you give us your stats?
