Why mamafish68, you don't think anyone has given him/her the "birds and the bees" talk

I would have described the meaning of spawn by the female fish laying eggs and the male fertilizing them.

Some species of fish will require that you duplicate their natural environment. ph level, GH, temperature, spawning site, plants, and of course a male and a female fish, etc....
