These guys are only 7 weeks and already two were pairing up for a fight... WAY too cute to see them display at this age!

Goodness, look at the fat little bellies on them. I must say, bettas are some of the most attractive fry.

Have you seen them doing a tug of war over grindal worms, I have and guess who gave in first .... that's right the worm

   love them babies...got a baby molly upstairs with an adult platy left over from a tropical disaster...dare I say living in an unheated and unfiltered tank! and the baby is so feisty you should have seen him chasing live food yesterday!

About how many fry did you get from this spawn? They look great btw. Cool how they already are fighting for food.

Mine are about the same age, and some look like those. My 2 biggest have started doing that too. one looks like he will be black/copper. It is so cute to see him try and flare. The mom of mine, is blondie's sis.
I don't think i can get pics as good as yours though. Are yours orange, or red. Mine look orange, but I think they will darken to red. Any thoughts?

wow those are some great looking fry. Its too bad they didnt inherit the red lip gene from blondie :fun:
