Crabs, frog and shrimp wouldn't be a good mix, you'd just be left with some crabs lol.

I don't know about crabs and shrimps together...
But you should definatley get a crab and out it in with your fish, I have a red clawed one and they do some really awesome stuff!

Crabs are also brackish, need access to land and are likely to catch and eat slow and small fish.

My red clawed crab needs no land, and the pet store said he is fine without it so don't worry.

That's wrong, all crabs except marine crabs need access to land. This can be in the form of a rock or piece of bogwood sticking out of the water or a beach setup where you have a slowly slopping beach out of the water, of gravel or sand. Also they are brackish unlike the newts. Keeping crabs without land is slowly killing them.

Do you want to have a community tank of some sort or just a species tank (i.e. a single inhabitant or group of one type of species fish/other critters)? If you go for a species tank, i would have an African Clawed frog- they can grow to the size of your fist and can go in a 58litre :thumbs: .
Albino ACF (african clawed frog);

I love ACF's, my old one was bigger than my fist and they only need a 10g tank. They need 10g each so you could have 1.

:good:

african dwarf frogs how many of them could i get in my tank they say that they only grow an inch
