Sound System + Fish = ?

I got a 5 gallon tank with a betta this weekend and I'm glad to say he is doing quite well. He is on my computer desk and I was planning on getting some sort of surround sound system now that I can play DVDs on my computer, but I'm guessing that wouldn't be a good idea since the vibrations from the bass would stress out the fish. Any comments on my situation?

Depends on how heavey the bass is.

I play pretty loud music in my room, my fish don't seem to mind

I dont think it would, I have surround sound in my room, where my tank is, and they are fine. I dont play it much tho.

As long as you don't have the speakers in the tank itself, all should be well ^^
