Sorta fuzzy white spots on Panda Cory

When I looked in my 10-gallon tank yesterday, I saw a couple of white "fuzzy" (not cotton stuffing like) spots on my Panda Cory <sigh> They llook like large ich spots that are a little fuzzy, maybe like they're covered in a white mold. It's hard to describe. The edges of his fins and barbels also seem to be kind of white, maybe fuzzy (sorta like blurry). I've put some Jungle Fungus Clear fizz tab in there, in case it was fungus. I don't see white fuzzy on any of the other fish in the tank - they all look good.

Any suggestions?

Edit: Tank gets a 20-25% w/c every two to three days, should be cycled by now as it's been up and running for over a month (started as fry tank, so has been getting daily or every-other-day water changes).

Sounds to me like fungus.....sounds like things should be ok with what you are doing.....hope all works out well for you. Good luck.

Thanks, FM. I read the box for the fungus stuff and it also said it treats fin rot - not sure if my little guy has it or not, but if he does, hopefully this'll help it. For awhile tonight, he looked like he couldn't keep himself from standing on his nose, but then a bit later he seemed to be okay. So, I dunno...guess we'll just have to wait and see.

He was stuck on the filter this morning Didn't really surprise me, though. He wasn't looking too great last night. Every single Panda Cory I've gotten from that place has died. I asked the guy there if anyone else has ever mentioned having trouble keeping them and he said nope and that the Pandas at the store thrive. I guess they just don't like it here

Maybe I'll go for some Bronze Corys next time....

I bet that lfs guy was just saying that...some lfs have a hard time admitting they have any problems with fish.

I've had the same problem....every panda I've gotten from one particular lfs died on me. Finally I found them at a different lfs, and they've done great.
