We've now had her for coming up to four months, and this is how she's grown.

The first picture was taken a couple of weeks after we got her, the second was taken this morning in the same pot and in almost exactly the same pose.

We're gonna need a bigger flowerpot.

I always used to get mad when I'd only see big saltwater puffers in the fish stores, if I only knew fahakas existed, I'd have one a long time ago...

I'm going to go get my puffer (s?) tomorrow. I had to make a lot of phone calls for these and probably ran up one helacious phone bill.

There are definitely two species of spotted puffers by the way for anyone interested. One is primarily Freshwater the other primarily brackish. Both will do good in brackish, but only one does good in freshwater. Had to talk to a couple university professors to figure this out.


Martha is really, really growing. I remember the last time you posted pics. You are going to need a bigger pot.... How long is she now?

She's currently 7 inches from nose to tail. And getting bigger every minute.
