Sorry For Posting This Here, But...

ADF's? most types of gravel will be fine for them, but I'd recommend either sand, or a larger gravel that'll be too large for them to ingest. Sand would be the best option as they wouldn't have to forage through the gravel and they may get injured doing that.

Chances are slim that the frog would actually swallow the sand, IME ADFs don't usually grab a mouthful, instead they use their hands(or claws w/e you want to call them) to pull the food towards their mouth.

In regards to the sand, that moon sand should be fine. Just be sure to rinse it EXTREMLY well or else your water will get discolored.

That sounds a little tough. How do you rinse the sand? I already have 3 female bettas in the so here are my stocking lists:

10 gallon:
4 ADFs
4 more white clouds

5 gallon:
1 betta
4 rasboras or 2 banjo cats

easiest way to rinse the sand it to put it into a small bucket or container and just let the water run into the bucket/container until the water runs clear. Then mix the sand up with your hand and do it again.

In regards to the 5 gallon tank, I wouldn't recommend banjos as they grow too large for that tank, aswell the 4 rasboras may pick on the betta.

Also, what do you mean with the stock in the 10gallon tank, the 4 more white clouds part. Where are the female bettas going? In the 10gallon?

I kept my ADF with some really fine sand. He would often get some in his mouth when he was eating, but he always spat the sand back out.

Ohhh, so the final tank stock of the 10 gallon tank would be:

3 female bettas
5 White Cloud Minnows
and 4 ADFs.

Sounds like the tank would be fine to me, I'd reccomend heavy planting though, and possibly some bogwood for that nice, natural tank look ^_^ Hope all works out well, let us (me) know :D

White clouds are coldwater, or at least subtropical. Bettas and ADFs aren't. :(

Whiteclouds can survive tropical temperatures, it does lowere their life expectancy (from around I think 3 or 4 years to about 2 years) and it does put some strain on their bodys. However they still can live in a tropical tank, if the temperature is set from 74-76F it should be fine.

They were discovered in a Chinese mountain stream with melting snows by a boy named Tan who kept them in a jar, and the water heated to about 80[sup]o[/sup] F and the fish were fine.

My tank is heavily planted, and I will add some bogwood, just my thoughts.

I was thinking of harlequin rasboras. Would they work?
