Ok so I got a 20gal sorrority tank set up and I am getting 4 females from synnir I currently have 2 females and was wondering if I could add them now until synnirs females arrive tomorrow or thursday but I am expecting them tomorrow. I have plants and caves so they should be able to escaped each other.

I know it's frowned upon but they are doing fine they are actually staying at opposite ends of the tank and not flaring at each other. I think they will be ok till tomorrow. The bigger female tho does come by her but doesn't attack her.

Ok decided to wait to add them all together.

You can add them now if you want. But, you should remove them when the new ones arrive. Then add them all together. Otherwise the other 2 may get defensive. I'd wait, so water is fresh for all of them. Rather than having 2 dirtying it now.

Just FYI, I actually haven't had the chance to mail yours out yet (I have chemistry lab on Mondays and genetics lab on Tuesdays so I barely have time to pack up a couple of boxes and still get to the post office before it closes) but I'm planning to get them out tomorrow... no lab then, so I should have plenty of time. Hopefully I'll be able to get caught up with all my shipping tomorrow

Ok cool that actually gives me a little time to get a few things I need. So they should be here by friday then. That works.

I think you'll find it much more convenient to just wait on your new girls.... otherwise you will have to rearrange the tank, and add them all back in together..... And I know my girls wouldn't be able to live all together if there were any less than the 6 I have..... The fighting was bad enough with the 6 of them together, I can't imagine having just one on one. I would advise against it unless absolutely neccessary.
