Soon to give birth

Please help

My female guppy has overnight formed the \_____/ and it looks like she is starting to open up. DOes this mean that she is going to give birth soon ? Like today still ?
It it safe to put her into a breeding net or should I put her into a guppy tank ?

Yep sounds like she is just about to!! Any luck yet ryan? Must be very immenent from what you describe!

I wouldn't suggest it because the stress might force her to eat her young (that happened to mine because the male kept trying to mate with her). Either way, record the date of birth. Add on four weeks to that date and that's close to the next drop date. Place the mother in the trap a week before to reduce the risk of a miscarriage.

Very bad news

I woke up this morning to find her giving birth to her last 3 fry. However when I returned from work this afternoon, I found one of them dead. .

I'll be ready next time.........
