Something, no bigger than half a mil is swimming around in my tank. Its mainly silver with a black bulb on one of its end. It just seems to wriggly around in the tank aimlessly, what is this?

Well, you could add this, whcih I easliy found in your pro, but It'd be easier if you just said it...
6 gallon (apparently):
4 neon tetras
2 pristella tetras
2 Rummy nose tetras
1 Bristlenose catfish
R.I.P clown loaches
Its un-cycled? And you have all those fish in there?
H :X oly cow - Many things it could be.

Ah.
Thats weird.
Hmhm, did you wash the gravel?
Did it come from the water you used? Does it look alive?
Did you buy a live plant and it came off it?
Where do you think it came from?

Its play sand thats been in the backyard for a while. Thoroughly washed though.

None of the ornaments in my tank were submerged when I got them, so thats not how it got in. I did however get some water from my established tank and put it in. However Ive never seen that in the other tank.

sounds a bit fishy to me. if you cant identify it, leave it let it grow then see what it is?

It could be a larvea put there by some airborn insect. I"ve seen that happen before.

It came up recently for food I put in the tank to produce ammonia for the cycle.

I did recently buy 2 kuhli loaches and did get a water sample from their tank. Highly unlikely but it does resemble and move like them.
