Something Wrong With Cycle

I'm about 6 weeks into my cycle and something is WRONG!!!!! I just tested my water and the results were : Ammonia 3ppm, NitrITE 0, NitrATE 0!!!!!!! Last I checked the Nitrite was around .75, Ammonia around 1 and Nitrate around 10. What's wrong??? I did do about a 50% water change so I could fill a new tank with some water from this one.

Why would you do a water change right in the middle of cycling? That sets back your cycle significantly. Just wait some more and dont mess with it again! And you said 6 months not 6 weeks!
