One of my albino corys have been acting very strangely. He is sometimes laying on his side on plants or on the bottom of the tank, and always hiding in plants some times face-down. Is this normal? Its a 10 gallon tank and there is 2 julii corys, 1 male betta, and another albino cory. I cant get water stats because im out of test kit strips.

the other fish are totally fine, not acting different at all

Test strip cards are not accurate. Liquid test kits are the best.

Need to get your water tested.
Any red streaking on body or fins.
Does he look pale or darker in colour.
Is he acting listless and lethagic.
Does he look bloated.

I would issolate him and use a bacterial med.

Is he acting listless and lethagic.i guess...
Does he look bloated.??

Does his tummy look like a ballon, because of bloating.

I think I would issolate him and use a bacterial med.

no he dosn't look bloated

The only thing i could use to isolate him is a small 0.8 gallon (former) betta tank.

he seems to be doing better, though. I think he may be hiding in plants because there is no where else to hide, I don't have a cave yet. He might of just got stuck?

As long as the tank has a heater and filter it should be fine.
Good Luck.

If you don't have a filter the tank needs an airstone and heater.
You don't always need a filter if you do daily water changes.

Hows the fish today.
