Are these eggs? If so do they look like they are specific to any fish?

Thanks

Also can someone ID this for me?

Can't ID your fish for you, but the eggs will be from your angels.

Ooh exciting stuff! Makes sense, my koi angelfish seems to be guarding them because any fish gets chased off from going near the filter.

Anything i should do to protect the eggs?

Thanks

leave them to it mate, they might eat them, but then , they might not

Ok, it seems a koi angelfish and a wild striped one have mated

The koi angelfish keeps rubbing it's underside up against where the eggs are whilst the other one defends the eggs, then they both just defend the eggs.

How long would they take to hatch? I guess i'll have to try get lucky and put some in the breeeding tank if they manage to hatch?

Oh right, hope they are fertilised :hyper:

How long do they take to hatch on average do you know?

Ya. In captivity they only grow to about 6 inches. The minimum tank size is 2 foot, so 4 foot is more then enough.

Anyone know how long it takes for eggs to hatch? Also should i just try and catch them when they hatch and put in a breeding trap?
