Something Mysterious At The Bottom Of My Pairs Tank

Hi, I have a 30g breeding tank set up for my angels and the pair is currently taking care of wigglers. The tank is BB so i tend to look through the tank from the bottom sometimes. But today when i looked through the tank from the bottom i noticed som white stringy worm like things. Some of these strings actually moved. I also noticed somevery small round white flea looking things bouncing around on the bottom of the tank.What are these 2 things that i described? Are they a dangerous problem? My pair seems healthy but i want to be sure they stay healthy. thanks for your help in advance

the worms are probably going to be planaria. as for the flea's they could be some kind of infusoria maybe daphnia. its caused buy over feeding and is normally seen in oscar tanks. and anyone who has oscars will understand why.

perhaps cut down on the feeding they only need what they can eat over 30 secs of time to be healthy. one good thing is that they will be the best form of food if you do get fry.

either way dont worry too much, but know why its happened

I agree with FBF , DON'T WORRY .

these are part of your ecosystem , and more than likely you will never be completely free of them .

there are probably even smaller things you can't see , fry will eat these , and as they grow will eat the bigger ones .

the adult fish should keep the area pretty clean until the the fry are swimming on there own .

It is a pretty normal occurrence in tanks , the more excess food [ and other waists ] in the tank , the more of these little critters you'll see .

Just be sure to keep on on maintenance [ regular partial water changes] .
