Ok well ! today my mother is going to by me the bakers yeast i need !

As i have read so many articles about C02 i should understand it buy now but i just dont quite get it !

I understand the mixture you make and i understand most of the other things

But now ive read that you need a "reactor" so ive got more confused !

Do i really need a reactor and if not could someone give ma a kinda step by step guide thats worked for them ! ?

Thanks soo much for your time

Richie

As another inexperienced CO2 user (mine is pressurised in to a heavily planted tank), I think a reactor is what is used as an inline CO2 diffusion method with external filtration. Using yeast based CO2 production, you will need a form of diffusion that is not dependant on CO2 pressure, such as as a Hagen ladder or JBL vario diffuser. I use the JBL. Both are unsightly, but they do the job.

Hope this helps.
