You people..with your sneaky tactics...are gonna make people not look at our REAL betta threads lmao.

next there will be threads of betta pictures with title "My big catfish tank" or similar...

that's actually a South American Puffer Colomesus Asellus. the easiest way to tell it apart from a GSP is that none of my plants are dead from salt poisoning :p

more bettas would be that fat if they knew how to grow TEETH!!! d:D (or if i had just fed them 6 or 7 shrimp pellets in an effort to get them to stay still for five seconds  )

lol..poor plants

Pretty fish none-the-less, and no dead plants are a bonus!

If your SAPs are anything like mine used to be though, your plants will soon be full of holes :p Little buggers just love the taste of plant leaves ;)

Great picture! Really makes me wanna dig out a tank for some SAPs myself again.

every other day i put in a Hikari algae wafer "for the bristlenose". its equally munched on by the bristlenose, SAP and the snails--or at least there's never leftovers the next morning.

so far i've yet to see plants with puffer-sized holes in them.

Outstanding photo!

SA Puffers are one of the few species that will eat prcessed foods, and here's the proof!

Well done. :
