My mom told me about a tank that we had in the garage (for a couple of years) yesterday. Well i measured it and it came out to be Length=30 inches, Height= 12 inches, Width= 12 inches, can somebody convert that for me.

Also, will these fish fit in the tank:

3 Kuhli Loaches
4-6 Peppered Corys
2 Cherry Barbs
1 Dwarf Gourami

But my main question about stocking is that I am thinking about getting either 2 Bolivian Rams, or 2 Kribensis later (hopefully to breed them) and i was wondering if that would fit, and would there be any disputes between the fish (especially during breeding)?

You've been in here for some time, at least (looking at you post count), so that would mean that you probably have at least one other tank, right? My question: how could you have not noticed such an excellent opportunity to expand! :p

As for measuring the gallons: length*width*height/231. In other words, you have an 18 gallon tank.

I'm sure you know at least a little bit about cycling, so you're not going to add all those fish at once...

Barbs are shaoling fish and have to be kept in groups of around 7, so you would need more barbs. Other than the loaches (haven't kept 'em), everything looks fine in the preliminary setup, not sure about the later additions.

Thanks

I have never noticed the tank! A whole bunch of junk was on it before. I have to wash it out though because millions of bugs have made it their home!

I actually dont have another tank, this will be my first tank, but i have been vigourously researching everything about fish keeping.

Cherry Barbs are the only barbs that are fine not shoaling, they are perfectly fine in pairs!

And one more question: Is this a long 18 gallon?

I think cherry barbs differ from other barbs in that they can be kept as a trio (1 male, 2 females)- so I'd recommend that, rather than a pair; they're not very big fish, so should be ok. They are not aggressive like tiger barbs.

Khuulie loaches are fine, small body mass, peaceful, and yes- you do want at least 3. With both khuulies and corys, I would go for a sand substrate, they should really enjoy that.
