Some Plant Questions

im getting a new tank and i need to know the name of a particular plant.
its a green plant and it only grows to about a inch long and the idea is for it to cover the
whole aquarium substrate.
i need to know

Do you mean grass-like? I have some Echinodorus Tennellus growing in my tank, which is a nice foreground plant.
