i am quite proud of the fry I kept from my first batch and wanted to show you. I had trouble getting pictures at first, but after feeding them they came around.

The girls I kept are 14 weeks old now and are very beautiful. I also have 13 more fry that are coming up to 3 weeks old now. i hope to get some more of these desirable colors from that batch to make them easier to sell.

My LFS pays me $1.50 each for my extra fry when they are 1" or longer in length, so I can breed freely to an extent. :fish:

wow they are stunning females! Lovely colours.

Thanks for the compliments guys! I'm hoping to keep up the good coloring in the next few broods!

I purchased a new male and I am Fish Sitting another male for my friend. They are both colorful males and I am hoping to keep up the good looking colorations.

Here's a nice video of the Guppies to show off the colors better!

Most of them look to be males to me, lovely colours though

This line of guppies tends t produce females with larger gonopodiums, but when you compare them with the males of the same age they are smaller. They also aren't showing any of the male behaviors that i would expect at this age.

Females don't have gonopodiums?
Woops, didn't realize I'd said that. I meant to say dorsal fins(the top fins), as that's the only thing that looked male-ish to me at first with the females. Not sure what I was thinking when I typed that.

The dorsal fin doesn't determine gender, have a look at this thread, I think you'll find yours are males

Which are you referring to as males? There should be three shown in the video. One adult male, one younger male, and another that is younger still. The other two, the grey female, and the other spotted fry have no visible gonopodiums when I look at them closely in the tank. And I looked very closely at them. The third female, my other female fry, never came out for this video and so is not shown.

Males of this line have very large dorsal and tail fins at a very young age when compared to females. I can often tell males from females at a glance with these guppies just by the tail and dorsal fin. Later comes the gonopodium or the lack of it, when I look more closely. So, in short, I use the tail and dorsal fin for gender determination to an extent with this line of guppies, but the gonopodium has the final say.

I can't view the video, I'm going by the pics you posted
