Good pics, some nice Blue Orfe there.

Your pond looks like mine with the net over (stupid herons) :grr:

Nice pictures mate

Thanks!!
The pond is about 12 years old now.
I love Orfe. I want me some Golden ones :D

I also have two Sturtgeon.

And some baby Ghost Carp, i thnk you can see one in the second Piccy

We (family that is) plan to build a new pond in the next few months, is it ok this time of year?. A raised one, made from concrete blokes, then renderd or cladded with wood on the outside

Best not build it if you are not going to have it finished within a month or so. You can build it and move the fish next spring or summer though. :)

Of course!!! Isn't it best to let them mature anyway's? And as it is most unlikely that the build will go to plan that sounds like a great idea :D

nice lots of colourful goldfish, mine are either all read or all white!!.

what size pond is that one?

thats an interesting way of doing it, how much did the sheets cost?

I think it would cost me about 500 to get my ideal size pond custom made in fibre glass :(

It cost nothing! My Dad's Mate got all the Stuff from his work! This was 12 years ago so i don't even know if the sheeting is still available. It's never leaked so am a bit sad about doing the new one as this one has lasted so well. But it must be moves as next door had loads of conifers and the falling leaves are ruining it, even if they are cut down, there are still lots of trees around and am forever having to clear them, and the rockery behind it had sunk so it needs to be done.

ah ha that was lucky, if only you could have a wooden pond hen my dad could get the goods in!!

We have a ever green over the bottom pond(not pictured) but we don't get falling crap in there luckily but it makes egtting to the filter a right ass.

have you got a picture of your full pond?
