Shui has been with me for 5 days now. Seems like more then that! His name means water in chinese. I dont know why, but the name just seemed to stick. I just fell in love with his vibrant, bright color and the flecks of shimmery blue in his scales and fins. Here are the first pics I have ever posted of him!
After a few days of beliveing he was a vieltail I finally saw him fan it out. I do now believe he is a fan tail!
Shui has a very laid back personality. He is active and freindly and very curious of what is going on around him. I only saw him flare once, and it was more of a " What the heck?" type flare. It was the first time he saw the camera lens up close! It was just a little poof, nothing intimidating. I started cracking up! Now he just examines it and strikes a pose now and then. He has such a personality.
Because of his laid-back-ness, I am confident he would do well with an African Dwarf Frog once a bigger tank arrives. If things dont do well, I could always move the little bugger to the smaller bowl.
