DA - I'm in love with mine too She's definately the best fish I've ever had (besides my angelfish, I love them both the same ) Do you have any pics of your JD? Not too many people on this forum own one (I don't think) so I'd love to see a pic of someone elses

Heres my guy, its the best pic I could get of him..he seems to hide as soon as the camera gets near the tank! I can't wait for him to put on some more size either, hes such a greedy little pig..there is nothing he wont eat!



EDIT- Excuse the algea...I cant find anything that wont be killed to put in there to get rid of it and im not too keen on spending £18 on a bristlenose just to watch the convicts and the dempsey rip his eyes out like they did with everything else

aww he's beautiful DA When did you get him? When I first got my JD she always swam away from the camera as well, but now she's the biggest camera hog! I can't even take a picture of my bristlenose without her being in the way.

I agree with them eating everything. Just a couple days ago I was cleaning her tank and after I was finished I used a paper towel to wipe the outside of the tank off and she tried eating the paper towel through the glass, she was chasing it all over....I couldn't stop laughing! She tried to eat a fly that landed on the outside of the tank as well

Yeah it kinda sucks that you can't really put anything with these guys. Although...my dempsey doesn't bother my bnose, only when it's feeding time.

I wanna see more pics when your JD has grown a bit!

I got him about 2 months ago now, he was sold to me as a blue acara..but I knew exactly what he was and the blue acara doesnt cost as much..so I wasnt gonna moan

He is way darker than the pic makes out to be, I had to use flash and he still looks pretty dark! He's in a funny mood today, hes constantly flaring at my pair of cons (the pair digging about in the pot) which is kinda funky...I've never seen him do that before. He seems to be guarding the back entrance to the pots..I dont know why, the only fish he lets near them is my big lone female convict and she lives under the pots and doesnt come out alot...I wonder what he's upto

Jacks are awsome I have two and each of them has a 55 gallon tank of thier own. I have took the hobby of fish keeping to the highest level. I cant afford any more fish that has to be housed by itself. But the jacks are so awsome I couldnt help myself. Cool pictures I bet your camera is one of the best.

Yeah my camera is a pretty good camera for taking pics of fish and flowers etc. I love it. Wherever I go, my camera comes with me most of the time
