Some of My Bettas

Hi,

Thought i'dpost up some more pics of my bettas! These are the three i got from KG Bettas. I have a few others but they're in annoying tanks that are really difficult to get a pic throughs o these will have to do.

These three are in a divided, heated and filtered 10 gallon tank

And here's the black/Gold HM that i've posted a few pics of He's not flaring in these which makes a change!!

And this is the little guy i got for free!! He's only 2.5 months old so they weren't sure if it was male or female but im pretty sure its male now so hopefully, when i order some more fish from KG Bettas they're going to have a nice girl for him as he's such a lovely colour

And the Black/Red Feathertail HM who i've yet to see flare!! he's beautiful though

And, in just that instant, I really wished I lived in the U.K. so I could have some of his babies!

They're all so beautiful. That little light red one is cute as can be. He's only 2.5 months old? Pretty good size for his age! You must be taking really good care of him. How old was he when you got him? And, may I ask, what makes you think he's a boy as opposed to a girl? I'm just curious on that one. For instance, did you see any definitive signs, like an extra flap under the gills, or evidence of bubblenesting?

I've only had those three for a couple of weeks so the credit has to go to KG Bettas (bettaman on here? ) for how nice the little orange one looks! He's a tank bred one He does eat very well though!! He especially loves bloodworm! Its so cute to watch him chasing them around the tank!!

Im pretty sure he's male from his body shape, hes quite big and 'chunky' and his fins are more what you'd expect from a maleplakat than a female apparently. He also doesn't have an eggspot!
Ooh, and he builds the cutest little bubblenests!

I have the other black/gold HM from KGBettas and he looks just like yours, maybe they were brothers

I noticed the other black/gold on the website, they do look very similar so they could be brothers! How sweet!

Any plans to breed yours?

He's being conditioned at the moment and has a possible partner who is a blue HM but I'm also waiting for some of Kevin's tank bred girls to try with him too

Im hoping to breed mine soon (also waiting for some tank bred girls for all my boys!lol) but it will be my first attempt so im trying to sort it all out at the moment!

i have had several like that thought from that spawni thought they were females and now they are males..saying that the spawn i had today the male give up and the female has taken over have posted about it tonight..she is keeping the nest going......doing very well, just hope she can cope.........he is in the sin bin for now eating bloodworms....and flaring at another female..... ring the child support.....

Well, whatever it is its adorable!!

My breeding attempt may have been put on hold as im now changing my freshwater community tank to saltwater and am going to be spending a lot of money on that, but when i do breed one of those boys i'll let you guys know!
