does the first fish have popeye or is his right eye supposed to stick out

Don't think he's got pop eye. All the other Severums I've seen have had eyes like that, but you've got me concerned now. there was a Tinfoil barb in one of the tanks in the LFS I got the eartheater from who had severe pop eye. Could it be contagious, and is there anything to stop it??
