hi peoples im kelli and i have just a few questions about my fish tanks.
to begin, i've always had fish tanks but it was until this year (im 17 by the way) i started to research fish and caring for tanks because ive had problems with keeping fish alive. i had never tested my water or bought a heater for constant temperature.
right now i have a 35 gallon tank with one tiny baby, two silver mollies, one cremesicle molly (just got her today!), one albino red finned shark, and one sunset wagtail platy.
i also have a 10 gallon hospital/breeding tank which holds another sunset platy (hwose tins were torn when introduced to the big tanks..they are growing back nicely) and it also holds a blue dwarf gourami whose scales were picked off by a silver molly.
i want an assortment of fish for my big tank. fish that are compatible with each other and with my waters pH, which is at an even 8.0...always. it is unfotunate because ive always had neon tetras and i love them fish alot but now that i realize they do not thrive in alkaline waters i want to know if there is any way i could keep them. any advice?
i would also like to try out angelfish but i dont know too much about them. what other fish could i add to my big tank?
