Lastnight one of my males really coloured up then dug himself a little pit in front of a large rock and think he did sort of a "dance" lol
He was wriggling around on the sand and at times almost completely upright swaying his top body from side to side.I thought this was amazing to watch! anyway he was trying to entice the female over but she wasnt showing much interest.
So this morning you can sit the pit has grown alot bigger and hes not doing the dancing anymore though is following the female around however she wont eat?? usually she the first to get as much food as possible but shes not wanting to eat.I dont think shes holding because her mouth doesnt seem to be any bigger than it was?
I didnt know if during breeding they go off food or not or maybe theres something else wrong? shes seems fine and is swimming around happy isnt showing any signs of illness and I wouldnt say the male is harrasing her hes just following her about calmly.
By the way its an orange blotch male and female
