Will get a pic when i can,,,he doesn't come out much ,there's so many plants he lives in there and got tons of imphywotsit (bugs) lol. He's red,,,but could be a she,,in which case that would be good as one from reds first spawn is a he.

ive seen him.her and its growing at a rate of knots

all the fry i have in outgrow tanks get syphoned twice a week only and then its only a quick syphon, the more mess in there the better i think, its proving that way anyway. the ones on their own get done every 2 days now.

Right then Daz......I'm gonna cut down on my cleaning habits now and leave them alone a bit more. I'm sure they dread seeing me coming with the syphon hose....poor little buggers!!!!

my sister leaves her grow out tank get more mankey, I would clean mine out daily, more of her fry on average make it to adulthood.

next time I take a go at it I am leaving them be.

I guess it's kind of the same as wrapping kids up in cotton wool these days? Those rolling around in mud and eating worms are much healthier, fighting of colds and flus much better than those who have been wrapped in bubblewrap and sat in the house for their whole lives.
