Socolofi Shaking

Hi there everyone. Im pretty new to the whole Malawi thing and Im Loving it. Anyways I've picked up a male and female socolofi today and when I introduced them to the tank the female started shaking at the other fish especially the Zebra which was the biggest in the tank until I introduced the female socolofi.
Is the shaking a warning sign or a mating habit?

If its towards the zebra etc Its a warning sign that they are in here territory and she is p****d off, you sure she is not a he?

I was told that she was a female, and she doesnt have an "eye" spot. So your guess is as good as mine

LOL ... you mean an "egg spot". Most males have egg spots, and some females can have egg spots also. So it isnt the best way to sex a cichlid. But if your cichlid dosnt have any egg spots at all, then its a good guess at being a female.
