I always bag my carbon before putting it in the basket....sometimes in pantyhose, if no bag is provided.

Thanks, was the link on ebay what I should get?

What basket should I put it in: wool, sponge, noodles or bio balls?

Also should I put it straight in or should I put it in some sort of netting?

I am on my third day of soaking bogwood in boiling water and the water isn't that bad - slightly yellow. Think I might bite the bullet and put it in next week. If water is really bad then I can try the carbon as I have a Seapets about 20 minutes from me
