HEllo Guys, heres what i have

2 Bio Wheel 350
A Power Head for a 50 Gal but is strong enough to do a great water circulation
I have 2 x 1ft bubble crap. Good O2 on the tank.
5lb of Live rock
15lb of Dead Rock, hoping that it will house the good bacteria
1x Maroon Clown fish about 3 1/2"
4xDamsels iono what theyre called but theyre blue with a yellow tail
1x 3" Yellow Tang
2x Tiny Blue Hermit Crab
1x Crab (Looks like a spider. Sticks Sands on itself) Looks nasty about to flush it down the toilet.

what shall i do next. i want to have anenome but not till like next year.

i did the cycle already. used bio spira. made it really fast. now my water reads good exept for the nitrate. its like 10ppm

what should i buy next? do i need better cleaning group? what fish would go well? basically what shall i do next?

How big is the tank? Anytime I see a tank with only 20lbs of rock total the hair on the back of my neck cringes

110 Galon sorry

By Biowheel 350, do you mean the magnum 350 canister set up??

If not, you may be a little lite on the circulation.

You will want a good strong powerhead on each side of the tank. Good water exchange in and around your rock will help keep hair algae at bay.

Yrllow tail Damsels. Cute guys aren't they? Four of them only spell trouble down the road. As far as they are concerned, they own your tank..

Between the Damsels and the lack of maturity in your live rock, I would say you are at the max comfort level for stocking fish at this time

The good news is, the are all kinds of snails, crabs, and shrimp that make great additions and are fascinating to watch.

Even in a nano? :look:

I would hope he wasnt keeping a tang in a nano :). Meant to add that to the first statement too... Whoops

For the poster, i agree with Great Lakes' advice. Get another powerhead in there, and build up your LR a bit. Gotta keep your filtration capacity up if you want to add more fishes :)

other than plunking down money on good powerheads to get your flow rate up (you should be aiming for around 2200 gallons per hour total) you will need to get your hands on about another 100 lbs of Live Rock. That is your filter. Ditch the hang on the back. After that if you want a nem your going to want to look into metal halide lighting. depending on your tank dimensions (not sure what 110 is standard) youll need halide light to punch through the water to give the nems what they need. DO NOT GET A NEM without high lighting and at least 100 lbs of MATURE, CURED live rock in your tank!!!

im starting to have some brown spots on the glass and some on the sand. more where the light is at. do u guys think its brown algae? i have like 3 turbo snails so far and like 4 hermits i dunno what thyre called.
