Okay so,
I keep loosing fish to an unknown disease or cause. What will happen is the fish will start to eat less over a period of a few weeks to a month, still eat but less. After this they will stop eating and become pretty lethargic. Moving less. After about 2 weeks the fish will start to loose color. The fish will then stay alive for 1-2 months and finally die. All the other fish are fine through this process, and no other fish show any symptoms of anything. At first I thought it maybe depression, as the first two Discus to die from this where Juvys being picked on by the 1st in the hierarchy. I now have another fish showing the same symptoms and has stopped eating.

The only symptom on my Red Melon is these weird red marks inside his nostrils/mouth. I can only see them because you can sort of see through this strain of Discus.
I really feel guilty when the fish die. I have tried so many different medications, and nothing works. Might try some more general cure and see if it helps...
I know it's not normally good to force feed, but do you think I should try it? I can use an eye dropper with blood worms and garlic juice. Will this just be more un-needed stress?
Need some opinions from some other Discus keepers.
This will be the third fish to die from this unknown disease in about a year and a month.
Thanks,
DL
