So I Finally Got My 10 Gallon Setup.

Corries should be kept on sand!!

And schools of 6.

It's actaully a rather smooth subtrate. No where near as rough as regular gravel :) And I did think about the group thing, I just didn't feel right keeping that many in a small tank. They seem rather happy as they are though, as well as the fact that I couldn't find any information specifying that they need to be kept in a larger group

they indeed do do best in groups of 6 or more, in your tank i'd have 3 or 4 :) they probably will need upgrading as they grow though, looking at my Adult i wouldn't put her in anything less than 3ft

Everything I have read indicates that groups of 2-6 are ideal, and if I add anymore to my tank, I risk over stocking. The albinos only get to be 2-3 inches and the rasboras are full grown now. I am actually right at capacity so if I add more, the tank will be over crowded. The cories seem very happy as it stands. They are active and playful, not just amongst themselves, but with the other fish. I know that the books say one thing, but they seem to be doing okay.

But for some entertainment......FISH TAG
