I've tried to explain but he is one of those people who just doesn't want to know. When I first saw them they were pretty nipped up, I tried to tell him that the reason they were nipping at each other was because his tank is too small for the 4 of them, and he has absolutely no cover (in terms of plants, rocks, or caves, etc.) There was no where at all for them to get away from each other or establish territories, all I got was the old "they guy at the fish store told me they'd be fine" bs. So I tried to explain it a little more in depth and he said he'd give it a thought. Next time I went over there, he said he had taken my advise, I go over to the tank and there is 1, I repeat 1 measly little plastic plant in there! I'm still surprised that they haven't taken they're wrath out on the wee little glow light!

I might end up keeing a plec and the littles but i think the other plec and the knife will have to be sold, knowing how big they get.

The BGK got eaten??!!! Now that's something you dont hear everyday It's usually the other way around.

i didnt realise how slow they grew and how fast oscars and birchirs grow lol.
